Editor’s note: Every week we ship an email newsletter featuring the region’s most exciting career opportunities. We’ve lovingly called it This Week in Jobs (aka TWIJ — “twidge.”). Below is this week’s edition; it’s meant to live in your inbox. Sign up for the newsletter here.

Ever been told to “beware the Ides of March?” But, what exactly are you being aware of?

Historically, Julius Caesar was told to be wary of the “Ides of March” or March 15. But, if you remember, he disregarded that advice and was betrayed by his pals and assassinated in the Roman Senate.

While you hear this phrase uttered in March, there’s nothing “unlucky” about this date. But perhaps there’s a lesson to be had here in taking advice and listening to feedback.

No need to beware today, but it’s not a bad time to reflect, ask for feedback and consider growing from it.
