Digital agency R2integrated (known as “r2i”), which lists digital marketing, social media consulting and web content management among its services, has received equity investment from Dallas-based private equity firm ORIX.
According to a release on r2i’s website, the money “will accelerate r2i’s growth and allow r2i to pursue acquisitions in the digital and social marketing industry within key US and international geographies.”
While headquartered in the Inner Harbor, r2i also has offices in Seattle, St. Louis, Mo., and Vienna, Va.
The amount of investment funding contributed by ORIX is undisclosed, although SEC filings indicate that r2i wrapped up an equity round of financing worth $7.5 million in late 2012.
