Sergy Odiduro, a Brooklyn, New York native, is a freelance journalist and producer. A former resident of New Orleans, she now lives in North Louisiana. Sergy is the founder and president of Louisiana’s first statewide chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
Her work appears in the New York Post, MSN, Miami Herald, El Nuevo Herald, Sun Sentinel, Artburst Miami, Legacy Miami, Biz New Orleans and more. Sergy is a proud but non-confrontational vegetarian who enjoys cooking from scratch and admits spending far too much time obsessing over cast iron cookware. She believes the key to solving society's ills lie in all forms of music, particularly Haitian Compas.
