D.C.-based Procurated, a newly launched startup that curates a public sector peer review platform, currently has five job openings listed on its site.

The company launched earlier this year and develops a digital platform that allows public sector organizations to incorporate peer reviews into their supplier selection process. Aside from Procurated’s founder and CEO David Yarkin, the startup announced its first key hires back in July, which included Director of Marketing Alex Stonehouse, Senior Director of Operations and Strategy Jessica Einstein and Senior Director of Product Management Rebecca Moran. Stonehouse shared that the startup’s team is now seven employees strong.

One of the open positions Procurated is hiring for is a senior software engineer. In the role, candidates must have more than five years of software development experience, possess HTML, CSS and JavaScript skills, and have knowledge of SQL databases. A computer science degree is not required, but it would be a plus on your application.

The Brand Guild is hiring for multiple positions in the D.C. region. The nine-year-old company was founded by Barbara Martin and Jayne Sandman as a branding agency that specializes in PR, marketing, events and creative.

Some of the Brand Guild’s open positions in D.C. include a creative strategist, VP of marketing and a senior PR manager focused on the real estate sector. The agency also has some openings in New York.

The Brand Guild also has PR, marketing, events, creative and social media internships available in D.C. year-round. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and those interested can contact the agency directly.

The D.C. Office of the Chief Technology Officer is looking to hire a supervisory IT specialist, among other positions across various fields. The position is full-time and the person in this role will focus on making sure the telecommunication are adequately provided to government agencies and residents residing in D.C.

Candidates should have IT-related experience or schooling, have dealt with critical network infrastructure and systems and know how to manage network outages. The person in this role will be required to travel locally, install and troubleshoot equipment, and be able to lift at least 50 pounds. A project management certification is recommended, but not required.
