Here are a few fun facts about each of the companies you’ll find at the jobs fair on Thursday (but of course, the most fun fact of all is that they want to meet you!):

1. 14 West

Media and direct marketing pros, 14 West has a campus of unique offices spread throughout Mount Vernon. Word is that its annual holiday party is so epic that people have been caught sneaking in.

2. Asymmetrik

The name of this software development and data analytics company was inspired by the concept of asymmetric contribution — “the idea that minimal (but extremely talented) resources and unconventional approaches can bring about inordinate progress.” This team is, like, really smart. We also shared a preview of their new office space in December.

3. BurnAlong

This platform enables people to take fitness, health and wellness classes on demand (and invite their friends and family to join remotely).

4. City of Baltimore

The city government is focused on growing Baltimore’s tech industry and workforce through the Digital Transformation Strategic Plan, launched in 2018. Be a part of the change.

5. Facet Wealth

This wealth management firm offers employees benefits such as unlimited vacation, 401(k) and access to the company’s own financial planning services. It also topped our 2019 realList — no big deal. (It’s a big deal.)

6. Femly Box

This monthly subscription service for feminine care products was founded by Arion Long, who goes by the title CEO — Chief Estrogen Officer. Network with the team to learn about what’s next for one of’s 2019 realList companies.

7. GeBBS Consulting

This healthcare consulting firm has been rated as one of the top 100 Healthcare IT organization by Healthcare Informatics.

8. Mindgrub

According to its website, employees at this technology innovation agency consumed 156 pounds of snacks last year. We fully support this culture.

9. Pinkaloo

A 2019 realList company, Pinkaloo is looking to modernize charitable giving with built-in discover, collaborative and gamification tools. What could you contribute?

10. SmartLogic

This software application company has a flexible office schedule, with core hours from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every day and offering employees the opportunity to decide how they make up the rest of their hours.

11. Terbium Labs

This information security company has an unusual perk: a full jazz trio setup in the corner of their office. Perhaps this is another clever security tactic?

The Maryland Technology Internship Program will also be present at NET/WORK, showcasing how they provide resources, guidance and financial support to Maryland companies looking to hire tech interns — which supports keeping top talent in-state.

More companies to come. We hope this helps you plan your 2019 NET/WORK strategy. Who will you meet first?
