Flying with family just got a little easier.

Ahead of the launch of the Department of Transportation’s new family seating “dashboard,” American Airlines announced a plan to guarantee that children will be seated next to their accompanying adult on flights.

This new policy helps parents avoid the dreaded seating shuffle to score a seat next to their child once they get on the plane. It also means less stress for families traveling together.

Here’s hoping more airlines will adopt the policy to make travel a little easier for all of us.

Wish finding a job could be as easy as booking a flight with your kid? It can be. Just check out this week’s listings below.
