The tech hiring scene is hot in Philly.

And while — like Philly Tech Week 2019 presented by Comcast as a whole — is not a jobs fair, there will be plenty of opportunities to find your next gig at Technical.ly’s Dev Conference, which is taking over the Drexel University LeBow College of Business on Wednesday, May 8.

Expect three rooms of programming, each with a specific industry focus. You’ll have the opportunity to learn from Philly CTOs, programmers and luminaries from local tech orgs that are making an impact on the city. Dev Conference is a great way for technology pros to network with their peers as well as the hone their technical skills.

We think of Dev Conference mainly as an opportunity for leaders to educate, companies to show off their culture and products, and technologists to build connections within their community. Nevertheless, we would be remiss to not highlight open positions for the companies attending:

Macquarie

Interested in how technology will shape the future of investment management? Macquarie is looking for full stack developers to provide innovative solutions for clients. Working with the company could mean pushing investment management to the next level or being the next developer to impact how businesses handle investments in today’s market. Guru

Have strong opinions on how organizations should use tools to create and share information? An industry leader in cloud hosting services, Linode’s talent acquisition team will be available to discuss all open positions at the company. Known for its flexible company culture and tons of opportunities for employees to learn and progress in their careers, the company is seeking talent for its Linode Kubernetes Engine. The company is specifically looking for a Senior Software Engineer for the project but will also be seeking QA and Python candidates. Monetate will have a table at the Dev Conference with its team members available to discuss how their AI is able to learn from over a million events every second. PromptWorks
