The hap-happiest season of all

With the Eagles’ 32-6 win in their first game of the season, it may as well be the start of Christmastime for Philadelphians.

No matter if we clock a W or an L, the true spirit of the Birds is the infamous (aggressive?) passion of its fans — which isn’t limited to the season’s beginning and end. As a Philly-born girl, for me, the Eagles’ fight song was practically used as a lullaby. The love of the team is born and bred in a slightly cultish manner.

Some of our favorite fan moments include the ever-entertaining “Go Birds” taunt in one Vikings’ fan’s face and the Broad Street-wide cabal after our 2018 Super Bowl win. We know there’s many more to list, but it would take all day.

Let’s ride that fervent energy into the week and as always, #GoBirds.
