Another in-person event gone virtual, but with a twist: Technical.ly’s annual Super Meetup, a gathering of the most active technical meetup groups, dozens of companies and hundreds of people, will now be virtual — and feature trivia. Plus, it’s now Software Day for the all-virtual 2020 transformation of Philly Tech Week 2020 presented by Comcast and Summer Series calendar of events.
Super Meetup has always been a bit different. For one, it’s a meetup of meetups. Replacing the in-person games and local tech networking from years past, this year we’re aiming to build in the fun so it isn’t just another Zoom call.
Come for lightning tech talks and stay for the trivia — featuring computer history, internet culture and local tech community facts. We’ll also maintain the tradition of meetup group shoutouts and include company culture plugs.
Join us Thursday, Aug. 13, from 4 to 5:30 p.m. ET for the fun.
What to expect:
- A series of lightning talks
- Meetup organizer shoutouts
- Interactive trivia
- Company culture shoutouts

The PTW20 Virtual Summer Series, launched in May, will continue with select partnered events through early September. The community will reconvene for a traditional week of events, now all virtual and being held Sept. 21 to 25.
