Editor’s note: Every week we ship an email newsletter featuring the region’s most exciting career opportunities. We’ve lovingly called it This Week in Jobs (aka TWIJ — “twidge.”). Below is this week’s edition. Here’s the last one we published; it’s meant to live in your inbox. Sign up for the newsletter here.
And now, back to your regularly scheduled programming
There are few things less uncomfortable than going home for the holidays and discovering the weird habits your parents developed since you left the nest.
For instance — and we’re just spitballing here — perhaps in your absence, your dad has taken to wearing tiny fur-trimmed boxer shorts around the house. And perhaps that fur is itchy and he reacts accordingly and you see things — terrible things — that haunt you when you go to sleep.
Again, just spitballing. We’re fine. We’ll probably be fine. Time will tell.
So now that we’re all safely back home in the swing of things, it’s time to get that job hunt up and running. Check out what careers we’ve got for you this week.
The News
Times, they are a’changin’. And Temple University’s Fox School of Business is along for the ride. Take a peek at the Fox School’s strategic plan for 2020, and it’s modern approach to business education. Hint, it involves data, practical research and classes in VR.
Also, take a look inside the life of Pragyan Sahoo, a global architect at Macquarie, whose 12-year career at the global infrastructure asset management firm has taken her all over the world. Read on to see where working at Macquarie can take you.
And don’t forget to register for one of our biggest tech job fairs of the year, NET/WORK Philly, which will take place at The Fillmore on Feb. 25. Get your (very affordable) tix here.
