The Business Development Intern will work with’s Business Development team to support ongoing sales efforts, outreach, processes, and post-sales customer service activities.

This intern will work with business team to execute its strategic business plan of establishing new as well as maintaining/growing existing business in our markets along the Northeast Corridor. This role will be based in our Philadelphia HQ.


  • Great collaboration and communication skills
  • Interest in how fosters community and collaboration through sponsorship of our events, content, and digital media products across the 4 markets we cover
  • Interest in learning more about sales and building client relationships
  • Proficient at all Google Suite applications (Sheets, Docs, etc)
  • Familiar with CRM usage, specifically Hubspot a plus
  • Familiar with accounting/finance software, specifically QuickBooks a plus
  • Knowledge of and interest in local and national technology industries is preferred but not required.


  • Research potential prospect leads
  • Generate actionable prospect lists
  • Initiate specific outreach campaigns with prospect lists
  • Create customer-facing decks with support from Business Development Director
  • Work cross-functionally with internal Technically Media teams to develop marketing campaigns and opportunities
  • Help maintain relationships with sponsors and partners
  • Provide customer support to client base as necessary
  • Work out of Philadelphia-based office for 12 hours a week, with flexibility around your schedule. This position is not eligible for remote work.
