Say goodbye to freshly sharpened pencils and test booklets. Last Saturday, the SAT went digital.
For the first time in its nearly 100-year history, students could take the test digitally in a new format. Overall, the test is shorter and uses an adaptive question component to give test takers easier or harder questions based on their responses.
While some students encountered technical glitches, such as frozen screens or connectivity challenges, this new format is here to stay.
You might not be cramming for the SAT, but is there anything in your life that could use a disruption? Whether it’s ditching pencil and paper or making an outdated process work for you, there’s always space for improvement.

We asked Fastmail how it supports team members. Junior marketing coordinator Alexis Eusebio-Baskerville responded, “Fastmail partners with organizations that build connections and foster growth. I was fortunate to learn about them through Hopeworks, a nonprofit that empowers young adults to build careers with branches in Camden, NJ, and Kensington, Philadelphia. I smoothly transitioned from an internship to a full-time role in which I have access to professional development opportunities that expand my knowledge and encourage networking.”
