Philly was just dubbed the country’s third best city for startup creation in a report from 1776 and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and a look at Philly tech’s share of open jobs reflects that.

The distinction echoes another report from the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia, which put Philly’s growth rate above New York’s for the first time in 25 years. There was one catch though: the study found IT employers still struggled to fill high-skill jobs.

(Our NET/WORK Suburbs 2017 event signaled an uptick in that need right outside city limits.)

Let’s take a look at some of the jobs available around town.

But before you do, a programming note: We at Technical.ly want to better understand who our readers are and how we’re doing as an organization. To that end we have a reader survey that we would love for you to take. It takes about five minutes. Pretty please?

OK, you back? Let’s see those jobs.

CloudMine, which recently shook up its leadership by naming exec Stephen Wray to the CEO position, is looking for a Security Engineer and a Security Administrator to join its team working out of Center City. It recently tapped Vince Varallo and Jeff Gardosh to VP roles.

“These are exciting times for the CloudMine team,” Wray said in a press release. The exec credits a “significant elevation in engagement” in the healthcare sector for the uptick in senior staff. Likely, another contributing factor was the $7.3 million Series A1 recently raised by Brendan McCorkle’s company.

Chalfont, Pa.-based email marketing camp AWeber is looking for 17 people across several areas. We just saw the company handing out swag at NET/WORK Suburbs. The company was recently listed on the state’s Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania list.

QuantaVerse is looking for a Python Engineer to join its suburban HQ. Peep what the company is up to after raising a $2.4 million seed round.
