Move over short-form video content. There’s a new platform in town.

Meta’s Threads hit the app store last week. The app, a text-based social media network similar to Twitter, is having tremendous growth. In less than a week, the app has over 100 million downloads.

And although the content on the site isn’t dramatically different from Twitter (yet), sometimes a change of venue is enough to cause a jolt of excitement.
