“As I’ve grown at Comcast as a leader, I love to see what my team can do. It’s less about what I personally do, it’s more about supporting my team in achieving the best and most that they can do.”
Amaya Capellan VP of Product Management“What’s great about being at Comcast is that we can turn an idea into a product. I brought an idea to my manager, we demoed it across the organization, and a year later, we were able to create, ship and launch the product.”
Jaylen Sanders Software Development Engineer“Comcast wants you to do well and be happy. We have programs in cybersecurity where if you’re interested in another team, you can spend time with them and learn about what they do and how they do it, then possibly work with them in the future. It’s a healthy environment where you can focus on what you do, but also, if you have that curiosity to learn more, you have that opportunity as well.”
August Ceretelle Technical Program Manager, Cybersecurity“I believe when you feel happy with your work, you are the most productive. It's a win-win situation for the employer and the employee, and that’s the relationship I feel I have with Comcast.”
Praveen Thoranathula Lead Data Scientist“Everybody has an open-door policy. I could go to my manager, or even two levels up, and have a conversation. The leadership team is open to any ideas that you want to have improved so they will always listen to feedback.”
Ghouse Kamaludeen Senior Engineer“I get to see and be involved with the entire lifecycle of a product in my role at Comcast. I’m learning a lot about how to build the end to end project strategy which is integral in my career growth.”
Carly Beaumont Senior Manager of Product ManagementHow do you support employees at Comcast?
There are multiple ways we aim to support our valued employees at Comcast. One is encouraging each employee to develop a career growth plan and update it often. A career growth plan helps employees keep track of where they want to go and what they want to achieve, as well as set personal goals that can set them up for the future. It’s a documented plan that recognizes and maintains areas of performance that are already solid and provides opportunities to develop professionally and learn new skills and behaviors.
Mentorship also plays a large role in our company culture. When hired, employees can be paired with a mentor to guide their growth from the onset of their time in the company.
Plus, we believe in supporting employees holistically, not just in terms of the tasks they are responsible for. To cultivate positive spaces within the company, Comcast offers Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups made up of members within certain communities so they have an inclusive and collaborative touchstone at Comcast. Examples of ERGs include Black Employee Network, OUT@Comcast and MyAbilities Network.
Once I’m employed at Comcast, what will I learn?

We love to hire internally, meaning you always have the option for career advancement. Comcast will also offer tuition assistance for employees interested in continuing education. What kind of people do well at Comcast?
We look for someone who wants to learn, isn’t afraid to ask questions and can hit the ground running. We don’t expect employees to be able to step into a role and know it all. We look for people who are willing to take the initiative to learn new skills and can use their existing skills to be successful at our company.
