I hope this doesn’t sound too corny.

Editor’s note: Every week we ship an email newsletter featuring the region’s most exciting career opportunities. We’ve lovingly called it This Week in Jobs (aka TWIJ — “twidge.”). Below is this week’s edition; it’s meant to live in your inbox. Sign up for the newsletter here.

A-maze-ing commitment

It’s easy to feel like you’re not doing things right and have lost your way when things get tough. But it’s important to remember to stay strong and trust the process.

And what better way to get over that hurdle than actually getting lost? Winterbrook Farms, located in Frederick County, is home to the largest corn maze in Maryland, a whopping five miles long.

So if you’re feeling a bit down this fall, take some time to tackle this fun challenge. You’ll have plenty of time to think while wandering through the maze. And you’ll feel great relief once you find your way out, much like when you finally land that job you’ve been eyeing.
