Like it or not, the cold season is upon us. While we know covering a sneeze and washing your hands are excellent ways to avoid a run-in with the sniffles this season, what about these other solutions sick people swear by?

You catch a cold by being cold. It’s not ideal, but being damp and uncomfortable isn’t more likely to get you sick. While no one wants to go out on a cold day with wet hair, it’s not why you’ve got the sniffles.

Vitamin C keeps you cold-free. Pharmacy shelves might be stocked with Vitamin C supplements that claim to prevent the common cold, but most research finds this statement misleading. In fact, the National Health Institute states that “for most people, vitamin C supplements do not reduce the risk of getting the common cold.”

While we hope you don’t catch a cold, we hope you catch hold of an exciting new opportunity below.
