On the Market: Help lead marketing, coding or sales at these Philly companies

Because tech is much, much more than coding, here are some open jobs for a wide range of skillsets.

The growing edifice at 3675 Market, part of the uCity Square development and future home of Quorum, is nowhere near done yet. But the Cambridge Innovation Center, also a tenant-to-be, is already looking for its Philly point-person.

“We would expect this person to already have a strong presence in the local startup/innovation community,” Dougan Sherwood, Managing Director at CIC, said via email. “Hiring the right leader for our business in Philly is about the most important thing for us right now and we’re giving ourselves several months to find the right candidate.”

The General Manager role starts February next year, with some flexibility.

RJMetrics cofounder Bob Moore put out a call on Twitter for a new role at spinout startup Stitch last week:

At Stitch — helmed by CEO Jake Stein — the Content Marketing Manager will be tasked with writing about technical topics for technical audiences. One of the tasks stands out:

“Serving as Stitch’s in-house editor, helping our team members develop, copy-edit and optimize content.”

The Center City startup has been working to rally a community around its Singer tool. In February, the tool was made available under an open-source model to devs, with software evangelist Ashley Hathaway — formerly with IBM’s Watson team — leading the community-building effort.

Navy Yard ecommerce company RevZilla is on the hunt for its first-ever Cloud Operations Engineer.

The Cloud Operations Engineer will “maintain and measure performance and uptime service levels for RevZilla’s technology infrastructure.”

RevZilla recruiter Ed Zetusky said the person chosen for the brand-new role will work hand-in-hand with devs at both RevZilla and sister company Cycle Gear. Earlier this year, former Adidas exec Nic Vu was announced as the CEO of RevZilla’s parent company after cofounder Anthony Bucci stepped down at the end of 2016.
