Thinking about launching a new tech career but unsure where to start? Coding bootcamps can offer a quicker path into the industry.

These programs are designed for people who want to switch careers, elevate existing tech skills, or break into software development without the time and cost of a traditional degree.

Although coding bootcamps aren’t as trendy as they once were, they remain a solid option for many aspiring tech professionals. Here’s a guide to Baltimore-area or online coding bootcamps, complete with details on cost, location and format so you can find the program that fits your needs.

Most of these bootcamps are remote-only and geared toward adults, but this list includes a few youth programs. Commitments vary widely, from full-time immersive programs that run for several weeks to part-time or evening courses designed to fit around work and family schedules. Whether you want to focus on cybersecurity or web development, there’s a program out there for you.

This list is an update of our 2024 bootcamp guide. Have a suggestion we should add? Reach out to baltimore@technical.ly.
