Atlas Obscura is teaming up with a mapping scientist from Bushwick startup CARTO and a local artist to create a map-based scavenger hunt in Bushwick.
CARTO’s Stuart Lynn and Lise Brennar will lead History Hiding in Plain Sight: Bushwick Scavenger Hunt on Sunday, April 9.
“We’ll first ground ourselves with an overview of Bushwick’s layered past and a survey of the changing face of the neighborhood through historic maps,” according to Atlas Obscura. “Then, everyone sets out with notebooks and pencils (not phones!) to hunt and gather markers of the everyday, the legendary, and the unusual.”
Tickets are $25.
