See the explosion of transportation that comes out of Brooklyn’s Kennedy Airport and Newark International Airport with this great new map from geographica, made on Bushwick’s own CARTO platform.
The map, which looks at the 50 busiest airports in the world, shows that JFK has 162 routes and 53.6 million passengers per year. Newark, a bit smaller has 153 routes and 35.6 million passengers per year.
LaGuardia didn’t make the cut of the top 50 airports, according to Airports Council International data from 2014, which is what geographica said it used.
So if you’ve been thinking of moving to Canada, or wherever else, here’s a good place to at least envision your route.
