WTC Delaware’s next webinar will focus on importing medical products

World Trade Center Delaware is hosting a COVID-19-focused event on Thursday, April 30, from 11 a.m. to noon, with its webinar “Mitigating the Effects of Importing Foreign Medical Products for COVID-19 and Beyond.”

Moderated by Marc Chandler, chief market strategist of Bannockburn Forex Global, the webinar will feature experts who are on the ground responding to COVID-19, as well as specialists in finance and logistics.

Topics will include:

  • Securing supplies in a time of scarcity
  • Supply chain management
  • The mechanics of finding and bringing in foreign medical products
  • Preparing for the future
  • Onshoring medical products and equipment manufacturing
  • Disaster planning and business continuity
  • Economic and financial considerations

The webinar is free to join by WebEx or phone.

In addition, the World Trade Centers Association (WTCA) is developing a list of potential suppliers of products and services to aid in combatting the COVID19 outbreak, provided for free to WTCA members, including WTC Delaware.
