The Shop.org Digital Summit, a massive national ecommerce conference, is taking place at the Pennsylvania Convention Center right now. (The national tech events just keep on comin’.)
More than 5,400 people are at the summit, according to Shop.org’s website. Shop.org is the digital arm of the National Retail Federation, a retail trade association.
The event features local speakers like Monetate’s senior director of digital marketing Brett Bair, Tonic Design CEO Chris Bye, Wharton professors David Bell and Peter Fader and RevZilla CEO Anthony Bucci, who was recently joined the National Retail Federation’s Digital Council. The council is an ecommerce networking group that features members from Nike, QVC and Facebook.
Monetate also hosted an (early) Halloween-themed party at the Mütter Museum last night. Monetate cofounder and former CEO David Brussin is also Shop.org’s board.

Correction: Monetate cofounder David Brussin currently sits on Shop.org's board. An earlier version of this post said he was a former board member. (10/7/15, 3:16 p.m.)
Companies: Tonic Design / Monetate / RevZilla
