Social Tables welcomed back its very first employee this month. Nick DeLessio is rejoining the events management platform as a senior product manager.


ByteCube appointed Lena Trudeau as its new CEO. The Virginia-based consulting firm specializes in “acquisition innovation, decision support, and science & engineering,” according to its website. Trudeau comes to ByteCube after working as the cofounder and CEO of Nuage Cloud Strategies.

“ByteCubed is at a critical phase of growth and we need leadership with the vision and understanding of our market to successfully implement and drive our strategy forward,” ByteCubed Founder and Chief Innovation Officer Ahmad Ishaq said in a press release. “Lena is not only a technology innovator but she understands people. She is customer-focused with a proven track record of delivering successful global change initiatives.”


In her past work, Trudeau lead the creation of 18F and lead the expansion of Amazon Web Services into global markets.

“I am excited to work with ByteCubed, which was founded on an ethos of making a difference for its clients and for its employees,” Trudeau said in a statement.


D.C.-based edtech company EverFi hired Elizabeth Owens Bille as senior director of harassment prevention. Bille comes to EverFi after holding the position of general counsel at the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She was with the company for 10 years, and previously held the position of vice president and associate general counsel.

“I consider EVERFI the leading voice in prevention education and training, so I am thrilled to join their efforts in addressing and preventing workplace harassment and discrimination,” Bille said in a press release. “What I have learned during the 12 years of my career as corporate counsel at SHRM and at the EEOC is sustainable culture change hinges on ongoing, wide-scale education and training.”


Some personal news, as they say. is excited to welcome Michelai Graham to the team as D.C. Market Editor.

Graham was born and raised in Sacramento, Calif., but decided to head east for school. Graham earned her B.A. in journalism at Michigan State University. She comes to this month after wrapping up a master’s program at American University, where she studied public affairs and journalism with an investigative reporting specialty. Graham comes to with experience covering cybersecurity and other topics for Scoop News Group.
