This year, D.C. investors will have the chance to meet with hand-picked early-stage technology companies on their home turf.
Disruption Corporation announced Monday that it will be hosting the North Carolina-based accelerator Startup Factory’s end-of-season showcase event, to be held Feb. 11.
The presenting companies will have graduated from the accelerator’s three-month program with $50,000 in initial seed capital.
“These are serious, successful investors and they attract serious and promising entrepreneurs,” said Disruption founder Paul Singh, in a release. “We want to make sure the smartest capital can find the smartest bets.”
The investor-only event will be followed by a celebration with other D.C. technologists at the new Crystal City bar Highline.
