Get Apple’s new iOS 8 today and you can use DuckDuckGo in Safari

Will this make the Paoli-based, privacy-focused search engine more ubiquitous?

DuckDuckGo is getting a boost from Apple.

The tech giant is slated to release its latest iOS today and it’ll allow users to set Paoli-based search engine DuckDuckGo as their default search tool in Safari, as we reported earlier this summer. DuckDuckGo is a search engine that promises not to track you.

If you’ve got an iPhone or iPad, get DuckDuckGo by going to “Settings” –> “Safari” –> “Search Engines” –> “DuckDuckGo.”

Learn more about the search engine’s features here.
