Beginning in April, Comcast Labs Connect will host a series of four specialized conferences designed to educate and inspire the tech community. The series will cover hot topic issues affecting today’s tech landscape, and set the stage for unmatched networking opportunities.
First up on April 16 is the third annual Security by the Schuylkill conference, an immersive, full-day event geared toward engineers and professionals working to improve data security and privacy issues. Participants can choose between two learning tracks that will engage, inform and foster collaboration amongst the security community as it tackles industry challenges, new data protections and best practices.

Leading the charge will be keynote speaker Christin McMeley, senior VP and chief privacy and legal information security officer at Comcast.
You’ll want a front row seat to take in McMeley’s extensive experience providing legal counsel and support for all aspects of privacy and information security, including coordination with government affairs and regulatory teams to navigate new state privacy and information security laws and regulations.
Prior to joining Comcast, McMeley advised past clients from communications, technology, financial, retail, media, health and education industries on issues of privacy compliance, information governance, cybersecurity, public policy and regulatory matters.
Know a thing or two (or 50) yourself about topics related to data privacy and security? Get your voice out there and apply to speak at the event. Fill out the call for presentations form by March 12.
