Usher and Taylor Swift weren’t the only notable musicians making news Sunday night.

Enter Beyoncé, who dropped two new singles off her upcoming album through a Verizon commercial Sunday evening. Getting your name out there during the Super Bowl is great, but what’s even better is footing the $7 million bill (for 30 seconds of ad space) to your sponsor. She got paid to promote her new song on one of the biggest platforms ever.

While a cell phone carrier might not be knocking down your doors to do an ad, it does bring to mind employer benefits and how you can take advantage of them.
