Things might be freezing in Kansas City, but the NFL season is still hot.

In part, a certain songstress might be the one to thank. This season, Taylor Swift’s regular appearances at Chiefs games has boosted viewership, particularly among female fans.

But not everyone loves this development. Over the weekend, former NFL coach Tony Dungy said the boost, thanks to Swift, was “disenchanting” people to the sport, asking them to focus more on entertainment than sportsmanship.

Love it or hate it, Swifties are doing sports now. So, whether you’re new to the sport or just a fan of celebrity spotting during the games, we’ve got a newsletter full of opportunities to check out in between plays.
