D.C.-based Revolution set the map for its next Rise of the Rest Bus Tour on Friday.

The road trip, which seeks to spotlight startup communities outside the major tech hubs, is heading to Florida and Puerto Rico for its eighth turn.

Here’s a look at the itinerary:

  • April 29 — Orlando
  • April 30 — The Space Coast
  • May 1 — Tampa Bay
  • May 2 — Miami
  • May 3 — Puerto Rico

There are a couple of firsts for this tour. The majority is unusually focused on a single state, for one.

It’s also the first time the tour is heading to a U.S. territory. In Puerto Rico, the tour will have a focus on the role innovation and entrepreneurship in revitalizing the island’s economy in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. Areas of interest include sustainable agriculture, energy production, pharmaceutical manufacturing, infrastructure and transportation.

Revolution’s team, including CEO Steve Case and Managing Partner J.D. Vance, will be joined by Chef José Andrés, founder of D.C.-based ThinkFoodGroup.

As the devastation of the 2017 hurricane became apparent, Andres’ nonprofit World Central Kitchen stood up a network of kitchens to deliver more than 3.6 million meals. That was prior to his efforts earlier this month to provide free meals to furloughed federal workers during the government shutdown. He’s joining with Revolution as it visits entrepreneurs who can address long-term challenges.

“We are 100 percent invested in Puerto Rico, not just in moments of extreme need, like directly after Hurricane Maria, but for the long term as they rebuild the island and its economy,” Andrés said in a statement. “To me, building a future where every Puerto Rican can access the benefits of technology and innovation is essential to this effort.”

In a continuing tradition, each stop will also include a pitch competition where Revolution will award a startup $100,000. The VC firm’s Rise of the Rest Seed Fund plans to add to the two investments currently in its portfolio, said Vance.
