U.S. Rep. Chaka Fattah (D-Phila.) defended net neutrality this week. Or, at least, the three million Americans who asked the FCC to protect net neutrality.
One reason it’s notable? Comcast was the top contributor to the Philly Congressman’s 2013-2014 campaign, donating $24,500, according to OpenSecrets.
In 2006, Fattah voted against net neutrality, but later, in 2011, he supported it. Fattah did not respond to requests for comment.
Fattah schooled FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai on the topic at March 24 committee hearing.
