As Technical.ly Baltimore has reported before, Maryland’s elected officials are fond of proclaiming this state the “epicenter” of cybersecurity in the U.S.
This time it wasn’t Gov. Martin O’Malley — it was U.S. Sen. Barbara Mikulski.
According to Capital News Service, the senator has “secured an additional $15 million from the federal government” for the National Cybersecurity Center of Excellence established in 2012 in Rockville, Md.
