Let’s brainstorm talk ideas for Pycon 2014!: PyCon, the annual Python conference, is scheduled for April in Montreal. In this PhillyPUG meetup led by AWeber’s Jessica Ivins, who is experienced in speaking at conferences, brainstorm talk ideas to propose for PyCon. Marketing Analytics: Proving and Improving Online Performance: Learn about marketing analytics from industry experts in this event from SEER Interactive. Thursday, 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. The Search Church, 1028 N 3rd Street, Northern Liberties. RSVP. $25, proceeds go to charity.

Philadelphia Maker Celebration: It’s the Free Library’s maker showcase, where the Library will present Connected Messages, a digital and physical mural, as well as work from local makers. Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Free Library Parkway Central, 1901 Vine Street, Center City. RSVP. Free.
