The Steel City is getting its moment in the spotlight: This month, Technically Media is launching a yearlong reporting effort, in partnership with the Pittsburgh Innovation District, to chronicle the economic change taking place in Pittsburgh. The economic impact of coronavirus is inflicting particular pain on small businesses. If you’re in the Baltimore area, Startup Soiree is offering small businesses space for dialogue and resources amid the pandemic. Check out Soiree’s online channels for help and insight on specific industries, plus resources and advice. Feel free to offer your expertise, too. “This is a place to expound on your issues, to offer support and ideas to fellow business owners, to share resources, and most of all, to help each other,” cofounders Nic China and Patrick Rife said.
