It’s been a heck of a year in business building and operations. Where do we go next?
That’ll be the theme of BuildingUp, a new quarterly webinar series we at Technical.ly are launching. It’ll hit on a recurring theme of ours: How do we build better workplaces?
Next Wednesday, Feb. 24, is the series debut, with a live conversation around our soon-to-be-released 2021 Hiring and Workplace Culture Trends Report. The report and webinar series (like our new weekly Culture Builder newsletter) rely heavily on the reporting our newsroom does across the mid-Atlantic, in addition to what we’re hearing from our client base of hundreds of growing tech teams.
Join Technically Media CEO and cofounder Chris Wink in discussion with HR and workplace culture professionals as they dive into the topics and learnings that will be revealed in our inaugural report. Attendees will gain actionable takeaways on what HR leaders and others in similar roles should be thinking about for 2021 and beyond.
With Wink moderating, speakers will include:
- Talia Edmundson, MBA, SPHR, SHRM-SCP — Founder and principal, HRnB Consulting
- Tamara M. Rasberry, SHRM-CP PHR — Founder and principal, Rasberry Consulting, LLC
It’s all happening 11 a.m. to noon EST on the 24th.
Here’s more on the panelists, in their own words:
Talia Edmundson has spent nearly 20 years in human resources. She is most known for building the people operations function for Philadelphia-based ecommerce company RevZilla, taking the organization from 40 employees to 475 in less than eight years. Talia launched HRnB Consulting to guide startups and small businesses as they think through developing people-focused workplaces. HRnB is an HR jawn offering fractional, executive HR support, project-based consultation, functional coaching, and people operations team installation.
Tamara M. Rasberry, SHRM-CP, PHR (she/her/hers) heads Rasberry Consulting, LLC, a consulting firm specializing in developing strategies for inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging with a focus on addressing mental health in the workplace. Tamara also currently serves as the HR manager (a department of one) for a national nonprofit based in Washington, D.C. Her nearly 20 years in the HR field have included in-house and consulting roles for nonprofits of all sizes in the D.C. metropolitan area.
