Philly Tech Week is collaborating with the WhatsNext virtual business festival on June 24

Through sadness, frustration and uncertainty, we seek out valuable interactions and valued conversations. In the framework of Philly Tech Week, this means we’re pushing forth in ways that can keep us hopeful, action-oriented and inspired to create change for the better.

Philly Tech Week is proud to announce our next collaboration as part of the PTW20 Virtual Summer Series. WhatsNext is a virtual business conference specifically curated for startup and emerging growth companies, as well as angel, venture capital and private equity investors. Launched by Philadelphia-based law firm Ballard Spahr, this event is aimed at creating a virtual environment that reflects the real-life supportive and creative nature of the innovation community.

From 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday, June 24, WhatsNext will blend professional interactions and panel presentations with music and entertainment. Join speakers from QVC and Comcast to Federal Donuts and NeuroFlow, get motivated by Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, and stay refreshed thanks to Victory Brewing.

Over a dozen panel sessions will be held throughout the day, including a product development panel moderated by Technical.ly as part of our Philly Tech Week 2020 presented by Comcast virtual activations.

From 12:15 to 1 p.m. ET, Technical.ly Product Manager Less Cardinal will moderate the “Building a Product: Idea > Design > Commercialize” session. Attendees will learn what it takes to turn a great idea into a consumable product. The session’s panelists (to be announced soon) have been at the epicenter of developing and commercializing SaaS solutions, tech programs, and food products within companies large and small. Cardinal will guide the panelists through questions regarding the nitty-gritty aspects of moving from concept to product, tweaking the idea to fit market needs, and about the challenges that arise when your vision doesn’t gel with reality.
