With Baltimore Innovation Week underway, can you blame us for getting excited nearly all of the more than 50 events on the calendar? This morning we played favorites with a few, and we’re doing it again.
Wednesday night’s Trends in Mobile at the University of Baltimore is an evening lightning presentation event that will show off the best of Baltimore’s mobile community. At the event, we’ll highlight trends in mobile video, mobile gaming, entertainment, collaboration and workflow, real-world mobile gaming and more.
The format is simple: 4-minute focused lightning presentations focused on the future of mobile.
We’re pretty excited that we have Sid Meier (of Civilization/Firaxis fame) and DJ Spooky confirmed on the agenda, so this will be a fun one.
Speakers include:

  • Sid Meier, Founder, Firaxis Games
  • Paul D. Miller, DJ Spooky
  • Andy Mangold, Co-founder, Friends of the Web
  • Matt Price, Co-founder and CTO, Silith.io, AnnoTree
  • Alex Hachey, Associate Creative Director, MindGrub
  • Steve Smallman, Co-founder and CEO, 15four
  • Damian Rintelmann, Senior Vice President, Digital, Weber Shandwick
  • Zach Nichols, Senior Windows 8 Designer, r2i
  • Alex Hachey, Associate Creative Director, MindGrub
