Is TicketLeap the new local entrepreneurial talent incubator? That’s what Tracey Welson-Rossman joked on the Philly Startup Leaders listserv last week, but the TechGirlz co-organizer and Chariot Solutions marketing officer has a point. Capography, the service that helps startups manage all their equity dealings and that was founded by TicketLeap CFO Tim Raybould, was profiled in TechCrunch last week.

Another (albeit new) TicketLeap staffer has a startup of his own: Carlton Bowers, one of the new TicketLeap interns, is a co-founder of Fanned Up, a social network for sports fans. Recently exited Venmo has roots at Ticketleap too, added PSL co-founder Chris Cera.

Translation startup VerbalizeIt (previously Palmling), fresh off its graduation from TechStars Boulder, has a team of six and is looking to make three more major hires. Co-founder Ryan Frankel tells us the company is based in New York but its development team is still in Boulder and fellow co-founder Kunal Sarda remains in Philadelphia. TruckyLove, the new face of geolocation startup Locengine, is getting some buzz around its pivot. The startup, which recently graduated from South Carolina accelerator Iron Yard, plans to act as a tracking service for food trucks. Check the company out on Zagat and Nibletz.
