Who’s getting money?

Stealth-mode startup Texta raised $15,000 on an offered $100,000 equity-only round. We can’t find any evidence of the company elsewhere online, but its founders are Oren Schindler and Kristen Nelson. One appears to be a foods entrepreneur and the other a writer/editor, but we’ll let you know later if we found the wrong people.

Who’s making moves?

Brooklynite and Reddit exec, Erik Martin, announced over Twitter that he is leaving the company. We are reaching out to talk to him about what’s next. Meanwhile, he said goodbye with an absolutely amazing cascade of GIFs to anyone who wished him well as he made his next move. He sent us a GIF of the Brooklyn Nets Cookie Dance (Google it).

Dumbo creative agency, Red Antler, built a messaging and branding site for Apcera, a company that builds an enterprise product to help devs and business types communicate. It had to be approachable and credible to both the technical and non-technical audiences that Apcera’s chief product faces.
