Tonight: Hear how companies are using data (about you) to drive sales

That's the topic at this evening's Northside Innovation Meetup. Lead reporter Tyler Woods will be moderating.

Big Data is a fine buzzword but at heart it’s just a tool to solve about the oldest problem there is in business: how to make a company’s supply most closely serve customer demand.
That will be the theme of tonight’s Northside Innovation Meetup, held at ROOT Studios (the long, low building you’ve walked past and never known what it was down by the water in North Williamsburg).
The talk is hosted by the Northside Festival, the tech/music “SXSW for Brooklyn” that’s held each spring in McCarren Park. During the winter they keep the coals hot by doing regular talks and meetups.
Panelists tonight are:

  • Marc Atiyeh, the head of growth at Paribus
  • Janet Choi, the marketing manager at Customer.io
  • Jade Huang, the founder and CEO of StyleSage

Yours truly will be moderating the panel discussion. I have some ideas for questions, but if any readers have questions they’d like to hear answered, I’m all ears. Write it in the comments or shoot me an email at tylerwoods@technical.ly.
Admission and drinks will be free and networking will abound. Hope to see you there!
