You’ve got 10 days left to pitch your Brooklyn-made startup idea for the chance to win $5,000 and free coworking space.
“There is something special happening here. Can you feel it?” asks the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, which is running the contest. “Brooklyn is a place where leading trendsetters, makers, pioneers, builders, and entrepreneurs — from first-time startups to those who stand on the world stage — live, work, and create.”
The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership supports the innovation economy in Dumbo and its namesake, downtown Brooklyn. The pitch competition is part of its Make It In BK initiative. Five online pitches will be picked from the group by Jonathan Butler, cofounder of Brooklyn Flea, Smorgasburg and Berg’n. Finalists will have a two-minute pitch in front of a panel of judges at the group’s Make It In Brooklyn Innovation Summit this fall.
Brooklyn entrepreneurs can pitch for $5k at the #makeitinbk pitch contest. Apply here: https://t.co/zjV2S10kpV //@downtownbklyn
