On the Market is a new column where we highlight noteworthy job openings and the people who are lookin’. Got a submission? Email us and tell us why it belongs in the roundup.

Kickstarter has several open positions, many in engineering.

The crowdfunding company, and its leader Yancey Strickler, have emerged recently as outspoken critics of some of President Trump’s legislative moves, including joining a group of tech companies that filed a joint amicus brief in a suit challenging the executive order that restricts entry into the U.S.

Matchpool is hiring for a full-stack JS + Solidity developer.

The blockchain company, whose founder will be speaking Monday night in Greenpoint, has been called (by us at least) Tinder for blockchain.

The Public Lab is looking for a community manager.

“The Open Hardware Community Manager leads the Kits Initiative, part of Public Lab’s Community Development program,” according to the organization. “The Kits Initiative’s purpose is to scaffold and support community collaborative design through easy-to-get-started kits and access to off-the-shelf tools.”
