Good Eggs: organic food delivery service launches responsive redesign

Local organic food delivery service goes mobile without asking users to download another app.

Good Eggs has gone mobile, but you don’t need to download an app to take advantage of the organic food delivery service on the go. Instead the team has redesigned in a responsive, mobile friendly format.

We wrote about the service and showed some photos of its Bed-Stuy work space here.

Huge’s Aaron Shapiro said this would happen; that apps were a transitional work-around while wireless networks caught up to smartphone capacity, so this new mobile capacity at Good Eggs is a sign of the times.

So now if you’re taking the bus more because the MTA has gotten transparent about how close their vehicles are to the posted schedule, one thing you to en route is your grocery shopping.

Features of their mobile experience:

  • Order products on the main screen with quick add buttons. No need to open a product’s page if you know you want it.
  • Get more details by clicking a picture.
  • One click ordering once you’ve given Good Eggs your info on the preferences side.
