Next week: Boost your business’s web savvy at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce

The event features two presentations from local entrepreneurs and is geared toward the 35-and-under set.

Need to get a handle on Facebook Live? Or even just basic steps to bolster your web presence?

Those will be the topics of discussion at the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce’s next meeting of Young BK Professionals, a group launched last year to support the careers of young businesspeople, particular those under the age of 35. The meetup will feature presentations from Jonathan Judge, the CEO of Codacity (which is based in WeWork Dumbo Heights), and Jimmy Newson, the CEO of My Video Strategy. It will take place Wednesday, March 22, from 6-8 p.m. at the NYU Tandon MakerSpace at 6 MetroTech. The event is free to attend.

Digital marketing has proven to be a topic that engages the broader Brooklyn tech community, even outside the Tech Triangle, as seen with BKLYN Commons‘ Brooklyn Marketing Week last fall. And of course, it’s always a good thing to stay up on the latest tools of the trade.
