Digital DUMBO is hosting an event at a Brooklyn Nets game

Ready Set Rocket, the creative agency sponsoring the event, wants to talk about the intersection of sports and technology.

Manhattan creative agency, Ready Set Rocket, recently completed a basketball stats-related project, according to Andrew Zarick, founder of Digital DUMBO, the community-building organization that runs the ongoing event series, dd:Social.
The Barclays Center says it’s the most connected arena in the country. That’s why Ready Set Rocket is partnering with Digital DUMBO to connect with technologists there, at a sports event, to talk about how technology can make live sports a richer experience. It’s slated for April 3.
“At RSR, we’re constantly looking to push the envelope on connected experiences, and right now we’re especially excited about what’s happening at the intersection of sports and technology,” Cole Sletten, creative director at RSR told us via email. “The opportunity to gather some of New York’s tech leaders in the same room with a forward thinking brand like the Brooklyn Nets is sure to spark some great conversations.”

Sletten will talk about that vision going forward during a pre-game presentation in the 40/40 Club. Also listed on the event page is Nets Director of Digital Media Brooke Eaton.
