Digital Art Friday: Ray Bruwelheide, ‘Do androids dream of electric sheep?’ [GIF]

This week's computer art appetizer: a robotic reverie.

"Do androids dream of electric sheep?" (By Ray Bruwelheide)

If you’ve seen Blade Runner, you may or may not know that the classic sci-fi movie is based on a novel by Philip K. Dick, which shares its title with this GIF by Brooklyn artist Ray Bruwelheide. The novel is, in part, about very lifelike androids.

We first met Bruwelheide at the “Level Up!” art show at Morgan Avenue Underground, where he explained how the Internet has come to shape his artwork.
