The educational iOS toymaker’s new spot in Boerum Hill looks exactly like what you’d imagine a growing tech company’s offices would look like. Large. Open. Well lit. Lots of different kinds of spaces to work in.
When we spoke to founder Raul Gutierrez he told us about the care he’s taken to create good jobs with competitive benefits. He also took a lot of pride in how many Tinybop staffers live in Brooklyn and the quality-of-life benefits associated with living close to work. Another unusual tidbit about the startup: it’s almost all women.
The company will soon break 5 million downloads for its first app, “The Human Body.” We recently wrote about what makes their approach to animation different.
