When you walk into an event you are greeted by a team of Shoeologists, who take you through a three-step personalized fitting process — scan, fit and design your very own pair. Here’s a little more on the technical elements of our process:
Scan: Once you have put on your special socks (that are superhero worthy), you will step up onto a circular platform that has an attached digital camera. The camera will move around the platform capturing hundreds of images of your feet which will then be converted into a 3D model on the computer screen. We will scan each foot separately, and the entire process takes less than five minutes
Design: Their custom built app lets you select a shoe style and apply any one of 100+ leather choices. You will be able to see the shoe in 3D, and the image looks almost realistic. You can design as many pairs as you want, and the designs are added to your digital shoe closet. Soon, you’ll be able to use the app to virtually try on your own shoes.

The science behind the comfort/fit formula is what happens during the manufacturing process. After a True Gault event, your sizing information, including the scan, is sent to their inhouse manufacturing team in Alicante, Spain. The Spain team analyzes your fit and handcrafts your pair of True Gault based on this information. Once your optimal fit has been achieved, it will be stored in their database making it easy to order your next pair of comfortable and beautiful True Gault shoes.
