The Poetics App has had an update approved by Apple.  We covered this app-as-art recently. In an email to Technically Brooklyn, the app’s creator, Seth Carnes, said he plans for the update to go live on Thursday and it will be free, after that, till the 26th. (normally, it is $1.99). So keep an eye on it. This new version will let you print postcards from your word-and-picture creations and have them sent to friends and family as physical mail. Plus, you will be able to post to Tumblr.
