who’s getting funded?

6th Street Inc., based out of the Emerging Technology Center‘s Haven Street location, has raised $1.06 million in debt, according to SEC filings. Founded in 2008, 6th Street is an e-commerce startup.
WellDoc, based in Charles North, has raised $2.15 million in equityaccording to SEC filings. The health IT startup creates an app that helps doctors monitor patients’ Type II diabetes by mobile phone, and is looking to raise $20 million overall.

who’s making moves?

SpeakerBlast, a web and mobile app that lets you play the same audio track on multiple devices, is now available for Android.
TechBreakfast, the monthly startup showcase that started in Baltimore and expanded nationally in 2013, now has more than 6,400 members in its Meetup group.
